EPFL Master Excellence Fellowships

Applications are now open for the EPFL Master Excellence Fellowships. These prestigious awards support outstanding international and domestic students who want to pursue a Master’s degree at one of Europe’s top technical universities in Switzerland. The fellowship provides significant financial support of CHF 10,000 per semester for up to 4 semesters.

It is open to students from all nationalities who have excellent academic records and strong extracurricular achievements. There are two application rounds with deadlines on 15 December and 31 March. Eligibility Criteria:

• You must be applying to a Master’s program at EPFL
• You must have an excellent academic record
• You should demonstrate achievements in extracurricular activities such as research, entrepreneurship, sports, arts, or community service
• Each student can apply to only one Master’s program per year
• Candidates who already hold a Master’s degree or are currently enrolled in a Master’s program at EPFL are not eligible

For renewal in the second year, students must maintain an average of at least 5.0/6 and complete at least 50 ECTS credits.

1. Go to EPFL’s official online Master’s application portal
2. Complete the application for your chosen Master’s program
3. Check the box indicating that you want to be considered for the Excellence Fellowship
4. Submit all required documents for admission (no extra documents needed for the fellowship)

External candidates should apply by the deadlines: 15 December or 31 March.
