University of Trieste PhD Scholarships 2026/2027 in Italy (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the 42nd cycle of PhD programmes at the University of Trieste in Italy for the academic year 2026/2027. These are research focused doctoral programmes across life sciences, social sciences and humanities, and technological and scientific fields. The main application deadline is 25 May 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Italian time.

Many positions come with scholarships that provide financial support. The programmes are open to candidates of all nationalities who hold a relevant masters degree or equivalent. There is a non refundable application fee of 30 euros, though applicants from certain developing countries listed in the ministerial decree are exempt.
