Sunway University Postgraduate Research Scholarships 2026 (Masters and PhD)

Applications are now open for the Sunway University Postgraduate Research Scholarships. These opportunities support outstanding students who want to pursue a Masters by Research or PhD at a top ranked Malaysian university. The scholarships are available in many fields including science, business, computing, education, psychology, and sustainability.

The current application deadline is 6 July 2026. These awards include partial fee waivers and fully funded options especially for PhD studentships with living allowance. Eligibility Criteria:

• You must have a relevant Bachelor degree for Masters or a Master degree for PhD with strong academic results.
• Most scholarships require a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or equivalent.
• You need to show strong research potential.
• You must apply for a full time research mode programme and receive an unconditional offer from Sunway University.
• You must demonstrate commitment to complete the full programme.
• Full studentship for PhD often needs research experience or publications in addition to good grades.
