Applications are now open for the Postdoctoral Research Assistant position in Multi-Robot Scouting at the University of Oxford, UK. This is a fully funded 24-month research position offered by the Oxford Robotics Institute and the Department of Engineering Science. The project is funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) and focuses on advanced multi-robot systems for exploration and scouting in challenging environments. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold or be close to completing a PhD/DPhil in Robotics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Informatics, or a closely related field
  • Have a strong academic track record in relevant research areas
  • Possess hands-on experience working with real robots
  • Have excellent skills in at least one of these areas: path/motion planning, locomotion, manipulation, whole-body control, machine learning, or optimisation
  • Demonstrate good team-working and communication skills
