MOFA Taiwan Fellowship 2027 (Fully Funded Research Opportunity)

Applications are now open for the MOFA Taiwan Fellowship 2027. This prestigious fellowship offers foreign scholars and researchers a chance to conduct advanced research in Taiwan. It is open to experts interested in Taiwan studies, cross-strait relations, Asia-Pacific studies, Sinology, and key policy areas. The program is fully funded and provides a monthly stipend, return airfare, and insurance coverage. There is no application fee. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be:

  • Foreign professors, associate professors, assistant professors
  • Post-doctoral researchers
  • Doctoral candidates or doctoral program students
  • Research fellows at an equivalent level in academic institutions abroad

Note: Priority is given to candidates in social sciences and humanities, particularly those working on Taiwan, cross-strait relations, Asia-Pacific studies, or Sinology.
