This internship is offered in various fields including agricultural development, gender and youth issues, climate change, and more.
The programme is fully funded, providing all interns with a monthly allowance, with additional financial support available for participants from developing countries. Recent graduates and current students aged 30 or younger who are nationals of IFAD Member States can apply. There is no application fee. Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a national of an IFAD Member State
- Be 30 years of age or younger
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited university or graduate school with at least two years of undergraduate studies completed and course attendance within the last 24 months, OR have completed your university studies (undergraduate or postgraduate) within the last 24 months
- Be fluent in English
- Have knowledge of another IFAD official language (Arabic, French, or Spanish) depending on your assigned region (preferred but may be required based on placement)
- Specialize in or be studying fields relevant to IFAD’s mission
