HENNGE’s Global Paid Engineering Internship in Japan

HENNGE’s Global Internship Program is a 4 to 6 week hands-on training program for students and early-career engineers at HENNGE’s headquarters in Tokyo. This is your chance to work with experienced engineers, receive direct mentorship, and build real software engineering skills in an English-speaking environment. No Japanese language skills required!

The program offers two learning paths: focus on front-end development with React or Vue, or build full-stack applications using Python, Go, or TypeScript. Instead of production work, the program prioritizes your growth through training, mentorship, and AWS cloud experience. While the internship is unpaid, HENNGE provides comprehensive financial support and top performers may receive full-time job offers. You can check out BS, MSPhD and postdoc positions here

Program Details:

When and Where

The internship runs Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM Japan Standard Time, at HENNGE’s Tokyo headquarters. The program lasts between 4 to 6 weeks depending on your chosen pathway.

Choose Your Learning Path:

Full-Stack Pathway

  • Master state management and data fetching concepts
  • Learn how front-end work connects to back-end services
  • Improve your skills through detailed code reviews and feedback
