Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a doctoral degree (or have successfully defended their thesis by 31 August 2026) in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, photonics, micro- and nanotechnology, semiconductor physics, advanced materials, or chip design
- Demonstrate ability to pursue independent scholarly activity
- Not have resided or carried out their main activity (work or studies) in Finland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately preceding the deadline (31 August 2026)
- Have fluent spoken and written English skills

Position Overview:
Tampere University is recruiting 12 Postdoctoral Research Fellows in next-generation semiconductor technologies.
These are full-time, fixed-term positions for 3 years under the FutureChips Postdoctoral Programme. The roles focus on fundamental technology and methods development for advanced semiconductor solutions.
