ICEGOV Scholarships for Conference by the United Nations University 2026

Applications are now open for the ICEGOV 2026 Scholarships offered by the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV).This is a partial funding opportunity to support authors of accepted papers in attending the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV 2026). The conference focuses on digital governance, electronic governance, and the use of technology to improve public services and governance.

Eligibility Criteria:

Preference is given to applicants who meet both of the following:

  • Are enrolled as students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) during the academic year 2025/26
  • Come from a low-income, lower-middle-income, or upper-middle-income economy according to the latest World Bank classification

Additional notes:

  • Post-doctoral researchers are not considered students for this scholarship.
  • Any author of an accepted paper can apply, but only one author per paper is allowed. Multiple applications from the same paper may lead to disqualification.
  • Full physical attendance for all four conference days (plus Doctoral Colloquium if applicable) is mandatory to receive the 300 USD payment after the event.
