ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Hold MD, PhD, ScD, or equivalent professional degree
  • Have maximum 5 years postdoctoral experience
  • Be under 40 years old (exceptions considered)
  • Never worked at proposed host institution before
  • Never worked with proposed mentor before
  • Able to communicate in host institution’s local language
  • Willing to conduct research in Europe
  • European citizens must choose host country different from citizenship
  • Current position must be at different institution and country
  • Can submit only 1 application per year

HOW TO APPLY:

  • Prepare your CV, research project description, and statement of intent
  • Ask your proposed mentor to provide endorsement letter and CV
  • Request support letter from host institution department head
  • Collect up to 2 additional reference letters
