The Wilson Center’s Congressional Fellowship Program is a six-week seminar designed for mid- to senior-level Congressional staff. Fellows debate key global issues with leading foreign policy thinkers and practitioners, engage in interactive simulations, and network across the aisle.
Upon completion, Fellows join the 1,000-member alumni network with access to exclusive briefings and study trips worldwide. You can check out BS, MS, PhD and postdoc positions here

- Location: Washington, D.C.
- Duration: 6 weeks (Fridays, 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM)
- Format: In-person sessions held at the Wilson Center or on Capitol Hill

Eligibility Requirements
- Current Congressional staff only
- Mid- to senior-level position
- Strong understanding of the legislative process
- Interest in shaping foreign policy
- Ability to commit to attending at least 5 out of 6 sessions
Important Attendance Note
- Must be able to commit to attending at least 5 out of 6 sessions
- Sessions are mandatory and held on Fridays from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
- Attendance in-person at Wilson Center or Capitol Hill location
