Additional topics include research planning, open licensing, data and code repositories, ORCID and DOI identifiers, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in open science.

  1. Visit the official NASA Open Science training page.
  2. Click “Apply” in the upper right corner.
  3. If you see an error, first log in or create a free account on the NASA STEM Gateway.
  4. Complete the registration form.
  5. Wait 24-48 hours for processing.
  6. Check your email for two messages from the system.
  7. Click the link in the first email to finish setting up your Canvas account and create a course password.
  8. Access the course through the link in the email.
