Applications are now open for the CICOPS Scholarships 2027 at the University of Pavia in Italy. This fully funded scholarship offers scholars from developing countries the chance to conduct short-term research (4 to 12 weeks) at one of Italy’s oldest and most respected universities. The program aims to build international cooperation through joint research projects. It provides full financial support, including travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, and a weekly stipend. Eligibility Criteria?

To apply, you must meet all of the following:

• Live in a World Bank low-income, lower-middle-income, or upper-middle-income country at the time of application.
• Hold a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) and currently work at a university or higher education institution.

OR

• Have at least 2 years of work experience (as teaching/lecturer/research/technical staff) at a university, public/non-profit research centre, or intergovernmental institution (research duties must be documented).
• Have at least 2 recent scientific publications or research outputs in the field of your proposed research project.

Important: You must obtain an official Letter of Invitation from a professor at the University of Pavia before applying. Applications without this letter will be rejected.
