CrossCulture Programme (CCP) Fellowships (Fully Funded)

Applications will open soon for the CrossCulture Programme (CCP) Fellowships, a fully funded professional exchange opportunity for civil society professionals and volunteers from over 40 countries. This prestigious fellowship supports individuals working in civil society to strengthen their expertise, build international networks, and develop transcultural skills through a 2 to 3 month professional placement in Germany or CCP partner countries.

The programme funds 50 to 60 professionals and volunteers yearly. The funding is fully covered for international participants from participating countries, including monthly stipends, flights, accommodation, and insurance. German citizens also receive full funding for core expenses. There is no application fee. You can check out BS, MS, PhD and postdoc positions here.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Be at least 23 years old at the time of application
• Be a citizen or resident of one of the eligible CCP countries (see list below)
• Have completed at least 2 years of professional experience or volunteer work in a civil society organisation in your home country
• Have solid, fluent command of written and spoken English
• Be in good health and able to undertake a prolonged stay abroad
• Not be a current student
• Not receive other fellowships or major funding in the same year

Application Timeline:

• October 2026 Application call for CCP Fellowships 2027 opens
• January to April 2027 Selection committee reviews applications and conducts interviews with shortlisted candidates
• April 2027 Selected Fellows are matched with host organisations
• May onwards Fellows meet their host organisations and begin orientation
• Programme Dates Fellowship placements typically run for 2 to 3 months
