Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold Syrian, Jordanian, Lebanese, or Palestinian nationality
  • Permanently reside in one of these countries
  • The Foundation will consider Syrians residing elsewhere due to current circumstances in Syria
  • Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 degree or higher
  • Candidates in their final year of undergraduate studies will also be considered
  • Have work and/or voluntary experience relevant to your field of study
  • Demonstrate a clear career path upon completion of studies and return to your home country or region
  • Demonstrate leadership potential in your chosen field or sector
  • Have applied for an eligible course at a Foundation partner university (or have legitimate exceptional reasons for applying to a non-partner university)

English Language Requirements:

IELTS Academic

  • Minimum overall score: 6.0
  • Minimum in each band: 6.0

Duolingo English Test

  • Minimum overall score: 105
  • Minimum in each band: 105

TOEFL iBT

  • If taken before 21st January 2026: minimum overall score of 80 with minimum of 20 in each band
  • If taken from 21st January 2026 onwards: minimum overall score of 4.5 with minimum of 4.0 in each band

Applications for the 2026/27 Saïd Foundation Scholarships follow a structured timeline:
