WATER4MED Summer School in Italy 2026

Applications are now open for the WATER4MED Summer School 2026: “Innovative Strategies for Climate-Resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean.” This is a free-of-charge (fully funded participation) intensive training program organized by the Department of Civil, Environmental, Land, Building and Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy.

It forms part of the EU-funded PRIMA Section 2 project WATER4MED, which focuses on developing innovative water management strategies and adaptation actions for the Mediterranean region under global change pressures, including climate change and increasing demand. The summer school will take place from June 8–11, 2026 (4 days, totaling 28 hours across 4 modules) in Bari, Italy, in a hybrid format (in-person at Politecnico di Bari or online). It targets PhD students, young researchers, recent graduates, and early-career professionals in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, and related fields.
