Non-Chinese citizens aged 18–40, enrolled in full-time undergraduate (Year 3/4), Master’s, or Ph.D. programs, with a good command of English, are eligible to apply. Application Process
- Secure pre-acceptance from a USTC professor in your research field (supervisor profiles, school websites).
- Register online, select “Non-degree program → Research Internship,” complete the form, upload required documents, and submit.

Visa, Insurance, and Accommodation
- Visa: Apply for a Chinese Student Visa using the JW202 form and admission notice
- Insurance: Mandatory, purchased by USTC (160 RMB/month)
- Accommodation:
- Level A/B: On-campus (first-come, first-served) or off-campus if full
- Level C/Self-Financed: Off-campus with USTC assistance; must register with local police
