UNFPA 2026 People Strategy Internships (Fully Remote)

Applications are now open for the UNFPA 2026 People Strategy Internships. These are fully remote 6-month internship opportunities offered by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is offering highly competitive remote internship opportunities for 2026. These internships fall under the Division for Human Resources (DHR) and align with UNFPA’s 2021–2028 Strategic Plan, focusing on digital transformation, workforce planning, and organizational development.

The programme is open to students and recent graduates who want to gain practical experience in human resources, data analytics, and learning & development. There is no application fee. The internships are unpaid (no salary), but a stipend may be provided in some cases to help with basic expenses. The deadline to apply is April 19, 2026. Eligibility Criteria:

• Monitor HR KPIs and troubleshoot data systems
• Prepare reports and presentations for diverse audiences

Required Skills

• Experience with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)
