- English Proficiency (within the last 2 years):
- TOEFL ITP: ≥477
- TOEFL IBT: ≥53
- IELTS: ≥5.5
- TOEIC: ≥510
- Exemption: Applicants from English-speaking countries or programs taught in English (with official confirmation letter).

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (in English or Bahasa Indonesia). Master’s degree holders are not eligible.
- English Proficiency (within the last 2 years):
- TOEFL ITP: ≥500
- TOEFL IBT: ≥61
- IELTS: ≥6.0
- TOEIC: ≥575
- Exemption: Applicants from English-speaking countries or programs taught in English (with official confirmation letter).
- Citizenship: Valid passport (minimum 18 months validity).
- Recommendation Letters: One from an employer/supervisor (if employed) and one academic letter (in English or Bahasa Indonesia).
- Visa Deposit: IDR 7,000,000 (refunded for Fully Funded recipients; required for Partially Funded/Self-Funded).

- Recommendation Letters: One from an employer/supervisor (if employed), one academic letter, and one from a potential UMS research supervisor (in English or Bahasa Indonesia).
- Statement of Purpose: Explain study goals, interest in Indonesia, and dissertation proposal (in English or Bahasa Indonesia).
