Switzerland TaDA Residence Program 2026 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the TaDA Textile and Design Alliance Artist in Residence Programme 2026, a fully funded 3-month residency in Arbon, Switzerland, for artists and creatives worldwide. Running from April to June or September to November 2026, this program invites participants to explore art, design, architecture, literature, performing arts, or interdisciplinary projects with a focus on textile culture and sustainability.

Open to national and international creatives with an interest in textiles, the residency has a deadline of September 15, 2025, and no application fee, making it an accessible opportunity to collaborate with Eastern Switzerland’s renowned textile industry. Eligibility Criteria

• Workspace: Access to a fully equipped studio in the former Saurer AG textile factory (Kreativzentrum ZIK), including sewing machines, fabric tools, and other resources.

What Will You Do as a Resident?

As a TaDA resident, you’ll immerse yourself in a collaborative and creative environment, working on a new project with a local textile company. Your responsibilities include:

• Project Development: Create an innovative project in collaboration with a TaDA partner company, incorporating Eastern Swiss textile production.
• Public Presentation: Showcase your work at the TaDA Spinnerei event through exhibitions, workshops, or discussions.
• Engagement: Collaborate with textile experts, respond to partner needs, and contribute to the region’s textile culture.
• Networking: Build professional relationships with companies, artists, and the TaDA community.
