What This Scholarship Offers:
- Round-trip Airfare: Up to 3,000,000 KRW reimbursed (maximum 1,500,000 KRW for arrival and 1,500,000 KRW for departure), covering actual travel costs to and from Korea with receipts required.
- Entrance Fee Coverage: 1,142,000 KRW fully paid at the beginning of the first semester.
- Tuition Coverage: 7,392,000 KRW per semester for all 4 semesters, completely funding your graduate program fees.
- Monthly Living Expenses: 1,500,000 KRW disbursed each month for 24 months (2 years), to cover essential daily costs such as food, accommodation, and personal expenses.
- Medical Insurance: Full standard coverage set by Korea University for the entire 2-year duration, ensuring health protection throughout your studies (separate from mandatory national health insurance).
- Optional Korean Language Training: Reimbursement for training fees exceeding 1,000,000 KRW (as set by KU), provided in the month before the first semester if you choose to participate.
- Housing Assistance: Dedicated support from Korea University to help locate and secure suitable accommodation, especially during your first semester.

Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of one of the eligible regions: Europe (19 countries: Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine); Southeast Asia (11 countries: East Timor, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines); East Asia (Japan, Taiwan—for Semiconductor track only); South Asia (India, Pakistan). Parents must hold non-South Korean citizenship; changes in citizenship during selection lead to exclusion.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree holder or expected to graduate by September 2026 (certificate of expected graduation required if not yet graduated; contact admissions if later than September).
- Language Proficiency: Submit proof such as TOEFL iBT 71+, IELTS 5.5+, CEFR B2+, New TEPS 326+, or TOPIK Level 3+ (exempt if bachelor’s degree was in English or Korean).
