Eligibility Criteria

General Requirements (All Levels)

  • Non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport
  • In good physical and mental health
  • Strong academic performance and good personal conduct
  • No concurrent enrollment in other Chinese institutions (except approved joint programs)

For Bachelor’s (BS):

  • Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Under 25 years old
  • Meet Chinese language proficiency for the major (usually HSK levels; details in ECNU guide) or English proficiency for applicable programs

How to Apply

  2. Apply for Scholarship – For SGS, Type A/B is nominated by ECNU (graduate may require uploading the SGS form). No separate external application in most cases.
