Amiri Scholarship:
The most prestigious scholarship at UDST, awarded in alignment with the vision of H.H. the Amir of Qatar to promote educational excellence.
Amiri Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
- High school graduation certificate (or equivalent) approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education with a minimum 90% average
- Minimum 90% in final year Math + Science (Chemistry/Biology/Physics) and program-specific subjects
- Graduated in the current or previous academic year
- Strong extra-curricular achievements (competitions, leadership roles, awards, certifications, Olympiads, etc.)

Dynamic Futures Qatar (DFQ) Scholarship – Education Above All Foundation:
This scholarship is offered through the Al Fakhoora program of the Education Above All Foundation. It supports expatriate youth living in Qatar.
Who Can Apply?
- Legal residents of Qatar (valid residency permit)
- Aged between 16 and 27 years
- Studied in Qatar for at least 8 years
- First-year or second-year students only
- Not receiving any other educational support
- Minimum high school average of 85% (new students)
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (continuing students)
- Family income below EAA threshold (Salary cap: 12,000 QAR per family)
- Pursuing a degree aligned with Qatar’s future market needs (Foundation Program not eligible)
- Orphans and students with special needs receive priority
Note: International students (non-residents) are not eligible.
Application Process
- Applications are announced by UDST Admission & Registration Department each Fall semester
- Apply directly to the university
- Submit all financial documents for household income verification
- Shortlisted candidates undergo financial analysis and selection assessments

Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation Scholarships:
1. Financial Reward Program for Qatari Students (Rewards Program)
Award: QR 5,000 per semester
Eligibility:
- Qatari national
- Per capita family income ≤ QR 6,000 (after deductions)
- Minimum CGPA 3.5
- Actively enrolled in courses
- Can receive the reward for multiple semesters (once per academic year)
2. University Student Support Program for Non-Qatari Students
Award: Up to QR 10,000 per semester (tuition fees only)
Eligibility:
- Minimum CGPA 3.0
- Per capita family income ≤ QR 1,000 (after deductions)
- Actively enrolled
- Covers tuition only (not summer semesters or past dues)

Tomouh Scholarship (منحة طموح):
Tomouh Scholarship Offered through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) in partnership with the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST).
This scholarship supports Qatari students who want to become highly qualified educators in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). It plays a key role in building Qatar’s future teaching workforce and aligns with the country’s National Development Strategy.
