Sabancı University Scholarships for BS in Türkiye

Applications are now open for undergraduate scholarships at Sabancı University in Turkey for the 2026-2027 academic year. International students can apply to a wide range of programs in engineering, natural sciences, arts, social sciences, and management fields. To access these scholarships, you must first secure admission to the university—all eligible international applicants are automatically considered for admission scholarships upon applying, with no separate scholarship application required. In addition, once enrolled, high-achieving students can apply for or be automatically awarded in-study scholarships based on academic performance and financial need during their studies at the university.

The final application deadline is August 28, 2026, with an early application deadline of March 14, 2026, to significantly boost your scholarship chances through priority consideration by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarships range from partial to full tuition waivers, with additional benefits like monthly stipends (up to 16,000 TL for 9 months), dormitory exemptions, and book support available based on merit, need, or both. Sabancı University provides admission scholarships automatically to all eligible international applicants during the undergraduate application process (no separate form required) based on merit (academic records, exams, etc.), offering partial to full tuition coverage.
Additionally, in-study scholarships are available for enrolled students after at least 1–2 semesters.
These are awarded at the end of each academic year to high-performing continuing students, either automatically (for outstanding academics) or via application (often including financial need), and may cover tuition, dormitory, stipends, or other costs.

Sakıp Sabancı Encouragement Scholarship

  • Awarded for outstanding academic success or academic success plus financial need.
  • Provides partial tuition fee waiver.
  • For “Outstanding Academic Achievement”: Automatically awarded based on GPA and credits—no application needed.
  • For “Academic Achievement and Financial Need”: Requires application with supporting documents at announced dates.

Dilek Sabancı Scholarship

Hacı Sabancı Scholarship

Monthly Cash Need Scholarship

  • For students with financial need; apply during announced periods (end of Spring and start of Fall).

Application Conditions for International Students

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be in the final year of high school or have graduated.
  • Meet YÖK international student conditions (e.g., foreign nationals not educated in Turkish high schools, renounced Turkish citizens, dual citizens, or Turkish citizens educated abroad excluding TRNC).
