  • Not receive other income for general living costs that exceeds 75% of the RTP stipend rate (unrelated income or course-specific non-living support is excluded)
  • For any associated RTP Fees Offset, not hold another equivalent Commonwealth scholarship that offsets tuition fees

Selection is merit-based, scored on:

  • Academic achievement and writing skills (0–20 points)
  • Quality of the research project and alignment with CQUniversity research priority areas (0–15 points)
  • Evidence of motivation, research experience, and research environment (0–15 points)
