POLYMAT – Summer Internship Programme in Spain 2026 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the POLYMAT 2026 Summer Internship Programme, a paid research opportunity in polymer science and related fields. This programme is designed for 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduate students in Chemistry or closely related Science and Engineering degrees. It offers partial funding through a monthly stipend of 560€ (covering living expenses during the internship).

There is no application fee. The internships last 2.5 months in summer 2026 and take place at POLYMAT in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain. It is open to eligible students of all nationalities, with hands-on research in innovative areas like polymers for energy, sustainability, health, and advanced materials.   • Be pursuing a degree in Chemistry or a related Science or Engineering field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, etc.).
  • Have a strong academic record and interest in polymer-related research
  • No specific GPA or language requirements are mentioned beyond general suitability for research.
