Eligibility Criteria:
- An excellent Masterās degree (usually GPA better than 3.0 or German grade 2.0 or better)
- A strong and innovative research concept related to ZEFās topics in sustainable development
- Good English language skills (IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80, or equivalent; some waivers possible)
- Your last Masterās degree should normally be no older than 6 years
For DAAD EPOS scholarship applicants (fully funded track):
- You must be from a developing country or one of the selected countries listed by DAAD
- At least 2 years of relevant professional work experience after your Masterās degree
- Strong motivation to contribute to development in your home country or region
