PhD Student in Sustainable Electric Motor Design (AlExci Project)

The AlExci project at Ghent University’s Electrical Energy Laboratory (EELAB) aims to develop electric motors using sustainable materials, focusing on replacing copper with aluminum conductors. This PhD role involves creating multiphysics (electromagnetic & thermal) models for motor windings, designing robust windings to withstand thermal and mechanical stresses, and building and testing stator prototypes. PhD Position in Tumor Modeling

This PhD position, under Prof. Olivier De Wever, focuses on improving tumor models for cancer research. The project investigates the behavior and therapy response of tumor models, including cancer cells and tumor microenvironment components like cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAF) and immune cells.
