The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) welcomes students enrolled in fully accredited degree programmes (bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD) to apply for internships throughout the year. Internships are flexible, offering in-person, hybrid, or fully remote arrangements based on team needs.
The programme is primarily based at OECD’s headquarters in Paris, France, but opportunities may also exist with OECD-affiliated bodies like the International Energy Agency, Nuclear Energy Agency, Financial Action Task Force, or International Transport Forum. What You’ll Do as an OECD Intern

Eligibility Criteria
The OECD Internship Programme is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a full-time, accredited degree programme (bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD) for the entire internship duration.
- Available for a minimum of one month.
- Proficient in English or French (OECD’s official languages), with a willingness to learn the other. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong quantitative, IT, drafting, and communication skills.
- Thrive in a multicultural, international team environment.
Note: Internships are primarily for nationals of OECD member countries, but non-members may apply for specific programmes. Online courses or non-degree-awarding programmes are not considered accredited.

Internship Duration and Flexibility
- Duration: Internships last 1–6 months (renewable up to 12 months), typically full-time (40 hours/week). Part-time internships (minimum 20 hours/week) are possible in exceptional cases.
- Start Dates: Flexible, based on candidate availability and team needs. Apply early, as the selection process can take up to three months.

The selection process involves four stages:

- Interview/Written Test: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or written test.
- Internship Offer: Successful candidates receive an offer and sign an internship agreement.
