This fully funded scholarship supports outstanding candidates from ADB member countries pursuing a full-time or part-time MBA at NUS, a globally recognized program designed for future leaders in business and society.
The scholarship covers full tuition, living expenses, books, medical insurance, and travel costs. Eligible applicants must be nationals of ADB member countries, under 35 years old, with a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of full-time work experience. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the NUS MBA ADB Scholarship, candidates must meet both the NUS MBA admission requirements and the ADB Scholarship criteria.
NUS MBA Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience after completing a bachelor’s degree (at the time of application).
- For part-time MBA applicants, non-Singaporeans/Singapore Permanent Residents must provide proof of Singapore-based full-time employment or residency at the time of application.
- Standardized Tests:
- Full-time MBA: Valid GMAT, GMAT Focus, or GRE score required for all applicants. Integrated Reasoning (IR) scores are considered for GMAT submissions.
- Part-time MBA:
- Applicants with 5+ years of work experience may submit an Executive Assessment (EA) score instead of GMAT/GRE.
- Applicants with 8+ years of work experience may request a test waiver, subject to a strong academic background, professional achievements, and admissions interview performance.
- Test scores must be valid for at least one month from the application submission date.
- English Proficiency (if undergraduate or postgraduate studies were not conducted entirely in English):
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 100.
- IELTS: Minimum score of 7.0.
- Score reports must be valid for at least one month from the application submission date.
- Referee Report: One referee report submitted before the referral link expires and before the application deadline.
- Application Fee: S$100.

ADB Scholarship Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a national of an ADB member country, including Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Niue, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, or Vietnam.
- No dual citizenship with a non-ADB member country.
- Age: Not more than 35 years old at the time of application.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of full-time professional work experience after a bachelor’s degree.
- Commitment: Agree to return and work in your home country after completing the program.
- Admission: Secure admission to the NUS MBA program.

Application Deadlines for August 2026 Intake
Applications for the NUS MBA open on August 1, 2025. To be considered for the ADB Scholarship, you must submit your application by the Round 2 deadline (January 15, 2026, for full-time MBA; February 2, 2026, for part-time MBA).

Application Process
The NUS MBA application process is conducted on a rolling basis and consists of five stages. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Stage 1: Start Your Application
- Create an Account: Register on the NUS MBA application portal.
- Select Program: Choose the full-time or part-time MBA program.
- Complete Application: Fill in personal details, educational background, work experience, and upload required documents (e.g., GMAT/GRE/EA scores, TOEFL/IELTS scores if applicable, and referee report).

Stage 2: Submit Essays, Scholarship Declaration, and Application Fee
- Review and Submit: Double-check your application for accuracy.
- Complete Essays: Answer the required essay questions.
- Pay Application Fee: Submit the S$100 fee.
- Scholarship Declaration: Indicate interest in scholarships (no separate application needed for ADB Scholarship).
Stage 3: Video Assessment
- Within 1–3 working days of submitting Stage 2, you’ll receive an email from [email protected] inviting you to complete a video assessment.
- The assessment includes one interview question with two attempts (1-minute prep time, up to 3 minutes per recording).
- Complete the assessment within 3 days of receiving the invitation. It takes approximately 10 minutes and must be done in one sitting.
- This is required to proceed to the next stage.

Stage 4: Live Admissions Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a 30-minute online interview within 2–4 weeks of submitting the video assessment.
