Key Responsibilities
As a Nuffield Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will:
- Conduct high-quality research suitable for publication in leading economics journals.
- Develop and manage your own research agenda.
- Present your work at international conferences and research workshops.
- Participate in the intellectual life of the Department of Economics and Nuffield College, including:
- Collaborating with colleagues on shared research interests.
- Attending and potentially organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Teach up to 60 units of graduate or undergraduate courses per year (e.g., 20 hours of graduate lecturing or 15 hours of graduate class teaching).
- Contribute to administrative tasks related to teaching and research.
- Act as a mentor for graduate students and represent postdoctoral fellows on Nuffield College committees, as appropriate.
