Malaysia International Scholarship 2026 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) 2026. This prestigious fully funded scholarship is offered by the Malaysian Government to high potential graduates from selected countries. It supports full time Masters and PhD studies at leading universities in Malaysia.

The program is fully funded and provides both tuition fee coverage and monthly living allowance. It is open only to citizens of designated recipient countries. There is no application fee. The final deadline to apply is 3 April 2026. You can check out BS, MS, PhD and postdoc positions here.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age limit of not more than 40 years for Masters and 45 years for PhD at time of application
• Strong academic qualifications with minimum CGPA of 3.00 or Second Class Upper Honours at bachelors level for Masters applicants
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or excellent results at Masters level for PhD applicants
• Good English proficiency shown by IELTS band 6.0 or higher or TOEFL score of 550 or equivalent or previous degree taught in English
• Submit a research proposal of at least 1000 words for research based programs
