Applications are now open for the London South Bank University (LSBU) PhD Scholarships for the 2025/26 academic year. These scholarships support full-time doctoral studies across diverse fields, including engineering, psychology, business, law, education, and the arts. Open to new PhD applicants from the UK, EU, and international countries, the scholarships offer both fully funded and partially funded options.

The LSBU Chancellor’s Scholarships provide a tuition fee waiver for up to four years, while the CTE PhD Studentships include a tuition fee waiver and an annual stipend of £21,622 for three years. There is no application fee, but international applicants are responsible for visa and CAS insurance costs. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the LSBU PhD Scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:

• Academic Qualifications: A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from a recognized international university. Relevant professional experience, publications, or written reports may also be considered.
• Applicant Status: Open to new full-time PhD applicants from the UK, EU, and international countries. Current LSBU PhD or doctoral students (e.g., EdD or ProfDoc) are not eligible.
• Program Duration: Recipients must complete their PhD within 4 years, including the writing-up year, examination, and submission of the final thesis.
