London Delfina Foundation 2026 Residency for Southeast Asian Artists

Applications are now open for the Delfina Foundation 2026 Residency, a fully-funded 12-week program for artists based in Southeast Asia, taking place in London from 6 January to 27 March 2026. This residency, supported by the Network of Asia Pacific Patrons, is designed for artists in any field of visual or performance art to develop their creative practice through research and engagement with the UK’s vibrant art scene. The application deadline is 17 August 2025, 23:59 BST, and there is no application fee. Eligible applicants must be citizens or long-term residents of Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, or Timor-Leste, proficient in English, and seeking to advance their career through international exposure. The residency covers flights, accommodation, a living allowance, materials budget, and professional development activities, making it a fully-funded opportunity with no additional costs for participants. Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen or long-term resident living and working in one of these Southeast Asian countries: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), Timor-Leste.
  • Be seeking an opportunity to develop your practice through research.
  • Be able to explain how an international residency will benefit your career and local networks.
  • Be proficient in English.

  • A single bedroom in Delfina Foundation’s communal house, which hosts up to 8 residents.

  • Professional development activities like presentations, crits, portfolio reviews, and mentoring to strengthen your practice.
