The Ketchum PRISM Fellowship 2026 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for The Ketchum PRISM Fellowship 2026. This prestigious program is designed for graduate students in public relations, communications, or business who want to gain real-world experience in PR research, insights, strategy, and measurement.

Selected fellows will work for 8 weeks in summer 2026 at Ketchum (one of the top global PR agencies), earn $22 per hour, and later publish a research paper with the Institute for Public Relations (IPR). The program is fully funded in terms of stipend during the fellowship period. There is no application fee.

What the Fellowship Offers:

  • Work 8 weeks in-person at Ketchum, earning $22 per hour
  • Work an average of 40 hours per week, with at least 3 days per week in the office
  • Join Ketchum’s Analytics and Strategy teams in one of these locations: New York City, Chicago, or Dallas
  • Gain practical experience across measurement, analytics, strategic positioning research, and full-service PR agency operations
  • Work on a variety of real client challenges and projects

At the end of the fellowship, you will develop a research paper designed for industry practitioners (not a purely academic paper). The paper should be rigorous and use the latest tools and technologies for generating PR insights.

  • You are encouraged to include nontraditional elements such as infographics, videos, or other creative formats.
  • If your paper is accepted for publication by IPR, you will receive a $2,500 grant.
  • The Fellow will be recognized at the 2026 IPR Annual Awards Gala in New York City on December 3, 2026.

Who Can Apply (Eligibility):

This fellowship is open to:

  • Graduate students pursuing a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in public relations, communications, business, or research-related fields
  • Students who have completed at least one year of graduate study
  • Post-doctoral candidates are also welcome to apply

Important Requirement: You must demonstrate complete fluency in both written and spoken English.
