Government Analytics Fellowship 2026

Applications are now open for the World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship Program 2026, a prestigious 6-month program designed to empower government professionals in data-driven decision-making and public administration efficiency. This funded fellowship, offered in collaboration with the World Bank, University College London (UCL), and other leading institutions, equips mid-level managers and senior analysts to lead impactful government analytics projects.

The deadline to apply is September 28, 2025. Professionals from central government organizations (including agencies) who are proficient in English and have coursework in statistics or quantitative methods are eligible. For applicants from ODA-eligible countries, travel, hotel, and subsistence costs for the 2-week in-person training in Washington, D.C. are covered by the World Bank. There is no application fee. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Government Analytics Fellowship, you must:

• Be able to travel to Washington, D.C. for in-person training.
• Be nominated by your organization (up to 2 fellows per organization).
• Work in a central government organization or agency.
• Hold a mid-level manager or senior analyst position (or equivalent) with authority to develop a government analytics project.
• Have completed tertiary-level coursework in statistics or related quantitative methods.
• Be proficient in English.
