Program Structure
The 24-month program (120 ECTS credits) is structured across four terms, hosted by different universities:
Year 1
- Fall & Winter Terms (Central European University, Vienna, Austria):
- Introductory module on environmental sustainability challenges.
- Advanced elective courses on cross-cutting skills.
- Spring Term (University of the Aegean, Lesvos, Greece):

Who Should Apply?
MESPOM welcomes applicants from all countries and diverse academic backgrounds. The program fosters a vibrant learning environment with students from over 70 countries since 2005.
Eligibility Requirements
- Academic Background:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, minimum 3 years) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Preferred fields: Environmental sciences, policy, management, natural/social sciences, engineering, or related disciplines.
- Candidates from other fields are considered if they demonstrate a commitment to environmental issues through professional or voluntary work.
- English Proficiency:
- Non-native English speakers must submit one of the following test scores (not older than two years, except where noted):
- TOEFL (Internet-based): Minimum 88 (90 for Manchester track, with no sub-test below 20).
- TOEFL (Paper-based): Minimum 570.
- IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.5 (no sub-test below 6.0 for Manchester).
- Pearson Test of English Academic: Minimum 59 (70 for Manchester, with no component below 65).
- Cambridge English (C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency): Minimum 180 (not older than 5 years).
- Euroexam Academic: Pass (not valid for Manchester track).
- Duolingo English Test: Minimum 125 (not valid for Manchester track).
- Exemptions are possible if your degree was taught entirely in English (submit a written request with your application).
