Fully Funded PhD and Postdoc Positions at Charité, Germany 2026

Applications are now open for up to 8 PhD positions and 5 Postdoc positions in the new Cluster of Excellence ImmunoPreCept at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany. This fully funded research program focuses on immune-tissue networks, disease prevention, and interceptive medicine. Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary (E13 level), excellent training through the ImmunoPreCept Academy, and access to world-class research facilities.   • Defining remission states in the bone marrow: a cross-disease framework to predict and prevent relapse
  • Unravelling resident and systemic innate immune reprogramming in the regression of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)
  • EBV and human immunity: from physiological integration to autoimmune dysregulation
  • Decoding spatial and clonal evolution in human invasive lobular carcinoma through integrated OpenST, strand-seq, and nanopore sequencing
  • Therapy-induced mutational remodeling of the intestinal epithelium: decoding genomic signatures of IBD interventions using human organoid and patient material
