Evaluation Process

Applications are reviewed by a committee of AUS academic representatives, with final recommendations made to the Vice Chancellor of Research. The evaluation criteria are:

  • Quality of Applicant (50%): Assessed based on the terminal degree-granting institution, academic achievements, publications, awards, and demonstrated excellence.
  • Quality of Proposed Work (50%): Evaluated based on the strength of the proposed project, mentorship potential, and availability of resources at AUS.
