Padua International Excellence Scholarships for BS and MS in Italy

Applications are now open for the Padua International Excellence Scholarships 2026/2027 at the University of Padua in Italy. This programme supports talented international students who want to study in English-taught Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Single-cycle degree programmes. It offers partial funding: a €8,000 stipend per year plus a full tuition fee waiver.

The scholarship is open to highly talented international students from around the world who do not have Italian citizenship and do not live in Italy. There is no separate scholarship application and no application fee for the scholarship. You are automatically considered when you apply to an eligible English-taught degree programme. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold a non-Italian upper secondary school certificate (for Bachelor’s or Single-cycle) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s) that allows entry to the Italian university system.
  • Not have Italian citizenship (dual citizenship that includes Italian is accepted).
  • Not reside in Italy (specific rules apply for EU and non-EU citizens – see full call for details).
  • Apply for one or two English-taught degree programmes at the University of Padua.
  • If you meet these, you are automatically considered for the scholarship. No extra forms are needed.

  1. Choose up to two English-taught degree programmes at the University of Padua.
  2. Apply for the programme(s) following the official procedures and deadlines on the University website.
  3. No separate scholarship application is required – you will be automatically considered if you meet the eligibility rules.
  4. If selected, you will receive a scholarship offer by email and must accept it along with your admission offer.
