UST South Korea Scholarship for Masters, PhD & Integrated Programs (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the University of Science and Technology (UST) Fall 2026 semester in South Korea. This is a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue Master’s, PhD, or Integrated programs in science and technology. You will work on real research projects at one of Korea’s 30 top government research institutes.

The application deadline is April 24, 2026. There is a small application fee of USD 23 (or KRW 35,000), but it is waived for KITECH Global Scholarship and KIMM STARSHIP tracks. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Both you and your parents must hold non-Korean citizenship.
  • For Master’s/Integrated programs: You must have (or expect to complete by August 2026) a Bachelor’s degree.
  • For PhD programs: You must have (or expect to complete by August 2026) a Master’s degree.
  • Language Requirement: TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.0, or equivalent (valid until May 14, 2026 or later). Some tracks also need TOPIK.

  4. Fill in your personal and academic information.
  5. Write your Academic and Research Plan (up to 2,000 characters).
