Applications are now open for the Blaustein Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Jacob Blaustein Center for Scientific Cooperation (BCSC), part of the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research (BIDR) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.

This is a great chance for recent PhD graduates to do important research on drylands and desert topics. The program awards 4-5 fellowships each year to excellent scholars from anywhere in the world.   • Your PhD was received no more than 5 years before the postdoc begins
  • You did not get your PhD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
  • You have not received any other postdoc fellowship from Ben-Gurion University before
  • Current BIDR postdocs can apply only in their first year

  2. Contact the professor to talk about positions and plan your research together.
  3. Fill the application form Get and complete it.
  4. Send your education documents Email PDF or Word copies of your bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD diplomas + transcripts to: [email protected]
  5. Get 3 reference letters Ask faculty who know your work (one must be your PhD advisor; another preferably from a different university). They send letters directly to your BIDR supervisor
