Samsung Dream Scholarship in South Korea for BS, MS and PhD

Applications are now open for the Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation Global Hope Scholarship for the Spring 2026 semester (March intake) at various partner universities in South Korea. This scholarship supports outstanding international students from developing countries pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in any field offered by the partner universities.

It is a partially funded scholarship providing substantial financial support: KRW 4,800,000 (approximately USD 3,500–3,800 depending on exchange rates) per semester to help cover tuition and living expenses. There is no application fee mentioned for this program. Eligible applicants are citizens of countries on the OECD DAC List of ODA Recipients (developing countries), who face financial difficulties, demonstrate academic excellence, hold at least TOPIK Level 2 (Korean language proficiency), and are committed to volunteer work and foundation activities.
