ICYF Internship Program in Turkey (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the ICYF Internship Program 2026-27 in Istanbul, Turkey! Organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), this exciting opportunity invites passionate university students and recent graduates to gain hands-on professional experience in a multicultural, youth-focused international organization.This is a Fully Funded internship, with no application fee.

It focuses on fields like project management, foreign affairs/diplomacy, education/training, media/communications, and youth economic empowerment/entrepreneurship.The program runs for 5 months in one of two terms, requiring physical attendance at ICYF headquarters in Istanbul (online possible if needed). Eligibility Criteria:

General Criteria (All Applicants)

  • Age between 18 and 35 years.
  • Must currently reside in Istanbul.
  • Currently enrolled in a university degree program or graduated no more than 6 months ago.
  • From an OIC Member State, Observer State, or Muslim minority community in a non-OIC state.
  • Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written) – required.
  • Knowledge of Arabic or French (OIC working languages) is an advantage.
  • Eager to thrive in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Department-Specific Criteria

Applicants must match qualifications/experience for their chosen department (otherwise application not considered):

  • Projects: Passion for youth work, project experience, research interest, report writing skills.
  • Foreign Affairs: Relevant major (e.g., International Relations, Political Science), strong communication/research/organizational skills, integrity with confidential info.
  • Education & Training: Major in Social Sciences/Law/Management or similar; interest in education; enthusiasm for working with students; Arabic recommended, Turkish a plus.
  • Media Coordinatorship: Major in Communication/Fine Arts; skills in Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), content creation, design, video/photo.
  • Young Business Hub: Passion for entrepreneurship/startups; awareness of global trends; strong communication/networking skills.
