What This Scholarship Offers:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be currently studying or working outside Canada.
- Open to any citizenship.
- Doctoral nominees: Eligible to enroll/start a PhD program at the nominating institution (typically September 2026 or January 2027 onward).
- Postdoctoral nominees: Hold (or soon complete) a PhD/health professional degree; eligible to start postdoctoral research before March 31, 2027.
- Research proposal must align with one of the eight priority areas.

- The institution submits the full nomination package to the relevant agency by the deadline.
