Erasmus Mundus GLOBED Scholarship 2026-2028 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Education Policies for Global Development (GLOBED), a fully-funded two-year international programme focused on globalization, education policy, and sustainable development. The deadline for scholarship applicants is 12 February 2026; self-funded spots close 15 May 2026. Offered by a consortium of four European universities (UAB Barcelona, University of Glasgow, University of Bremen, University of Cyprus), GLOBED covers tuition, travel, and a monthly stipend for selected students, making it fully funded for top candidates. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS minimum) in education sciences or related fields (sociology, anthropology, political science, human geography, international relations).
  • Minimum GPA 2.75/4.0 or equivalent (7/10 in many systems).
  • English proficiency: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL 90, or Cambridge C1 (waivers possible for native speakers or degree holders from English-medium programmes).
  • Motivation letter and Europass CV required; no prior work experience mandatory, but it strengthens applications.
  • Applicants must not have received more than one prior Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

  1. Create a free UAB ID on the official portal (globed.eu) during the open window.
  2. Upload passport scan, Europass CV, Bachelor’s diploma/transcript, English certificate, one-page motivation letter, and two recommender contacts (PDF only).
  3. Submit by 12 February 2026 for scholarship consideration or 15 May 2026 for self-funded.
  4. No fee; results announced in April (scholarship) or June (self-funded).
