KWI International Fellowships 2026 – Fully Funded

Applications are now open for the KWI International Fellowships, a prestigious 6-month research opportunity at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) in Essen, Germany. This fellowship targets early- to mid-career researchers in the humanities, cultural studies, and social sciences, with projects aligned to KWI’s focus areas such as science studies, visual literacy, aesthetic practices, constellations of historical impact, and dialogues between cultural and social sciences. The program runs from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, and offers a fully funded experience with a monthly allowance to cover living expenses.
