The LSBU Chancellor’s Scholarships provide a tuition fee waiver for up to four years, while the CTE PhD Studentships include a tuition fee waiver and an annual stipend of Ā£21,622 for three years. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the LSBU PhD Scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Qualifications: A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from a recognized international university. Relevant professional experience, publications, or written reports may also be considered.
  • Applicant Status: Open to new full-time PhD applicants from the UK, EU, and international countries. Current LSBU PhD or doctoral students (e.g., EdD or ProfDoc) are not eligible.
  • Program Duration: Recipients must complete their PhD within 4 years, including the writing-up year, examination, and submission of the final thesis.
