The Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarships at University of West London

Applications are invited for the Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarships at the University of West London (UWL), starting in February 2026. These fully funded scholarships support innovative research across diverse fields, including Business, Computing and Engineering, Law, Medicine, and more. How to Apply for a PhD at UWL

Follow these steps to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarships or other PhD programs at the University of West London.

Step 1: Find a Research Match

  • Identify a Supervisor: Contact a potential supervisor in your research area via email. Find supervisors and their contact details on the UWL PhD opportunities page, which lists available PhD topics across UWL’s Schools and Colleges.
  • No Match Found?: If your research area isn’t listed, email [email protected] for guidance.

Step 2: Review Entry Requirements and Funding

  • Entry Requirements:
    • Minimum: UK upper second class honours degree (2:1) and a master’s degree with merit or distinction.
    • Non-UK qualifications: Recognised equivalent qualifications from accredited overseas institutions or equivalent professional qualifications are accepted.

  • Funding:
