The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) offers a unique opportunity for 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate and master’s students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields to gain hands-on research experience.
This fully funded internship, lasting 3 to 6 months, allows students to work on cutting-edge projects alongside world-renowned faculty in state-of-the-art facilities. Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the VSRP, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or master’s student in a STEM discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.
- Proficiency in English (official exam scores may be required during application evaluation).
- Not eligible: Current Ph.D. candidates, KAUST students, or KAUST alumni.

Costs and Funding
